About IPC

Development works when it is well designed, well run, and well supported.

We help organisations attract funding, design and implement quality programmes, strengthen their systems, and build the capability needed to deliver lasting impact - without adding unnecessary complexity.

I
What the evidence shows

Successful programmes rest on the same foundations.

Research by organisations such as the World Bank, the OECD and UNDP has consistently shown that successful development programmes depend on well-designed interventions, a clear understanding of community needs, strong organisational capacity, effective governance, sound systems and implementation capability.

When these are lacking, projects are more likely to experience delays, underperform against their objectives, make inefficient use of donor resources, and struggle to sustain results beyond the life of the funding.

II
What it costs
Poor programme design, weak systems and ineffective implementation come at a great cost.
Donors

face greater implementation and fiduciary risk.

Organisations

lose opportunities to secure and retain funding.

Leaders

become consumed by compliance and administrative demands.

Communities

receive fewer or lower-quality services than intended.

Ultimately, the people programmes are designed to serve bear the greatest cost.

III
Why IPC exists

Two decades of practice, brought into the room.

Impact Project Consulting was established to help organisations address these challenges. We draw on more than two decades of experience leading development programmes, securing and managing donor funding, building partnerships, and implementing projects in the non-profit and social enterprise sectors.

We provide practical support that helps organisations attract funding, design and implement quality programmes, strengthen organisational systems, and build the capability needed to deliver lasting impact.

IV
How we work

Collaborative. Practical. Implementation-focused.

We work with organisations to strengthen what already exists - providing the expertise, systems and support needed to improve programme quality, strengthen implementation and build long-term organisational capability.

01
Strengthen what exists

We build on the strategy, teams and systems already in place - rarely does an organisation need to start over.

02
Stay close to delivery

Recommendations are only useful if they can be implemented. We work with teams, not around them.

03
Add capability, not complexity

Fewer, better systems. Clearer decisions. Simpler tools your team will actually use after we leave.
